Markus Bader, born 1972, lives in Frankfurt. Still in high school he made his first short films. At this time in front of the camera. While studying architecture he never stopped filming. Markus animated Stop-trick movies and designed videoinstallations. As a trainee in a commercial production he developed his skills as producer, cameraman and cutter. Since 2001 Markus proves himself as a director and video artist. This combination enhances his creativity for commercials and music videos. Next to his experimental side, he is able to put his actors into authentic and sensitive environments. Markus avoids clichés; in a very sensitive way he shows the reality. His humorous and friendly personality together with his strong sense to all the details make his style. His Music video for the Phoneheads was nominated for the best music-video award 2003 in Oberhausen. Markus speaks fluent english.
